Our Outer-Space Origins

 

Last week the robotic space lander Philae landed on a comet that passed near Mars, in an historical event.

Before shutting down it sent back some pictures and findings from the comet.

One of the most amazing findings is that there are most likely organic molecules on the comet!

This is a fascinating and  remarkable discovery that supports the theory that life on earth began with matter coming from outer space, especially by comets and meteorites hitting Earth before its atmosphere could prevent these invasions.

Earth as an OvumThis discovery led me to re-read the article I wrote about a year and a half ago, about planet Earth (and actually all planets) acting as an ovum, and comets and meteorites –  as sperm.

What would have seemed like science fiction only a year and a half ago, now has become very plausible.
