• Farewell Swan and Dolphin, Hello Nobility and Flexibility

SwanThe observant would see that two of the names of the Astrological Realms were changed last week.

Do not worry! This is not the first or the last time that changes will be made in the Astrological Realms.

My exploration of the Astrological Names began two years ago, and since then I am on the journey of capturing their meaning and essence. This is something that changes all the time, evolves as more understandings gather.

These days (shhhhh… don’t tell anyone) I am working on additional 12 Astrological Cards that will join my original 40 cards astrological deck. These are the 12 Astrological Realms cards, and they will be the 4th suit of the Holistic Astrological Cards.

Working on the Realms for this project let me understand that the Swan and the Dolphin needed to change their names, for two reasons.

The first reason is that there are known constellations in the skies given these names and I wanted to prevent confusion.

The second reason is that the Realm’s names are meant to capture the essence of the Realms. So although Swan and Dolphin were great analogies to the character of the Realms– still it seemed right to find a name that would capture the pure quality that each Realm holds, or the developmental path it offers, if you will.

The Swan and the Dolphin will be on each of the beautiful cards that were magnificently illustrated by Maya Toby, but the name of the Realm is now changed…

So – with a little flexibility I hope that we will all soon get used to the new names.

    And the journey continues!
